The hotel
The hotel complex is situated in a panoramic area at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level in the proximity of the fantastic Monte Argegna.
"Passo dei Carpinelli" (Carpinelli's pass) being a "passage" connects the Garfagnana area with Lunigiana which in turn is an open door to the Liguria region.
The fortunate geographical position (straddling the Garfagnana and the Lunigiana, two territories rich in history and nature) and the wide range of services offered (two outdoor pools, tennis court, mini soccer pitch, a fine restaurant) united with a careful and genuine family run service, has made Hotel Belvedere a peaceful and tranquil destination. Ideal for both those who have a pioneering spirit, who visit the area to discover the history and traditions, and for those who want to escape from the chaotic city life, searching for a place where one can rest and recharge in close contact with nature and its calm and quite way of life. Starting from the "Passo dei Carpinelli" either with the main road or with the highway, one can easily reach the famous Versilia, or artistic cites such as Lucca, Pisa, and Firenze or other renowned areas in the Liguria region such as "Le Cinque Terre" and "Il Golfo dei Poeti".
The hotel has 30 large and modern rooms, all of which have private bathrooms, telephone, and satellite television. Most of the rooms have a balcony that allows our guests to enjoy the wonderful panoramic view.
The Restaurant
The Restaurant is renown for its elegant and refined ambiance. It can host up to 250 guests and its structure is ideal for ceremonies, conventions and business lunches and meetings. In the summer season it is possible to have lunch or dine on the terrace while enjoying the panoramic view.
he cuisine is personally sought after by the proprietors and offers genuine and typical Tuscan dishes. A classic dinner starts with original and fanciful hors d'oeuvre to pass on to typical first course dishes such as "Zuppa di Farro" (spelt soup), Tagliolini di Farro (fine spelt noodles), or Ravioli con Funghi Porcini (Ravioli with porcini mushrooms). The second course offers dishes such as Agnello cotto alla brace (charcoaled lamb) or Coscio di Vitello al Forno (oven baked veal leg). The dinner may end with a choice of typical desserts such as Torta di Farro (spelt cake), Crostate ai Frutti di Bosco (tarts with wild berries) and many other delicacies.
